Pete was a super neighbour to me, always ready to help out with anything garden related. For many years he gave me runner bean plants to grow and it was nice when I could offer him plants last year. 
He was also a good friend, I have some lovely memories of sharing a drink with him in his garden which he loved and seeing him with Sonia and Nathan. 
He will be greatly missed.
